Alex Ressel is a London-based artist. Born in North London, he co-founded Superlative TV with Kerri Meehan in 2012. Superlative TV broadcast the first video message into deep space in January 2015.
Alex is presently an Associate Artist at Open School East.
He wrote a dissertation on individuation and collectivity in Nietzsche and Deleuze for an MA in Modern European Philosophy at CRMEP.
Superlative TV began life as a pirate television station, broadcasting in the frequencies left fallow following the digital switchover. We provided an open platform for the transmission of imaginative and thought-provoking work made by others. Superlative TV now operate as a moving image production company.
